I'm not a Premiere user, but the fact that those who are can trade in their disc for a free copy of FCE or a discount on FCP is an awesome move from apple. Premiere users not don't have to worry about future updates, because your no longer stuck with Premiere.

I hoping this works with previous versions of Premiere, not just the current one. I'm going to see if I can find my disc.:)
