I just called Sprint and tried to get out of my contract w/o paying the $200 fee. Well, that was interesting. After complaining about bad coverage in a couple of areas, I was offered free roaming and an additional 5% off my monthly bill. This would put me at like, under $40 a month for 1000 anytime, unlimited data, unlimited text, and now unlimited roaming.
...and I'm turning it down to get a crappy plan with AT&T.
What the heck am I thinking??

IMO Don't give it away. You don't know how much you will regret this plan after marrying into to a sucky plan by AT&T. Sprint has a far superior coverage than AT&T.

these kind of statements annoy me.
coverage is different everywhere. some places people will have better coverage with AT&T over Sprint!

Your avatar is of Buddha and things are starting to annoy you? :p I agree, coverage matters from place to place. However; if you take the whole country into the picture and the data speeds Sprint beats AT&T anyday( I am not saying this from my ass go check the cnet reviews) . Granted AT&T has been since a long time so they have coverage in most places but the infrastructure is long due in maintenance because of which the call quality is near pathetic. Listen, I would jump into the iPhone anyday or even camp out an Apple Store if they switch or free carrier restrictions. Otherwise, sorry. It's like buying a Ferrari w/bells and whistles however with a 10 hp engine with octane 50 fuel.
