For those still holding out on their 4GB RAM upgrade...
OCZ 4GB kit @ Frys is now at $159.99, however it no longer ships free. Shipping for me is $6.32 putting the total at $166.31 for 4GB of RAM :]

That's a pretty hot price! Anyone know any place in Canada that sells it for around that much (in CDN equivalent)? ^^;;

Purchased 4GBs of RAM from Frys when I got my MacBook Pro and I am absolutely loving it. Great RAM, great price, and great performance. :)

They do ship to Canada for $19, but you will very likely be dinged with GST PST and a handling fee. I just worked it out and for me it would come to roughly $221 CDN.

Not a chance -- the Canadian authorized OCZ distributor's dealer price is about CAN$300 a pair.

Uhmm... no it's not?
Looks to me like Omni wants $260 for their 4GB kit. And why buy cheapo scam-ram ("MULTIMEDIA ENHANCED!!!!") when you can get a lifetime warranty from a reputable manufacturer through a reputable dealer?

I agree, I would most certainly rather buy RAM with a lifetime warranty from a reputable dealer- even if it costs a little more. :)

Does anyone know if they offer this deal at Fry's B&M as well?

Geez that sounds good. I'm getting tempted to put it in my C2D macbook so that I can have 3.3 gigs of ram and dual channel. The question is if I need it.

That's not bad at all considering Apple charges like 500 bucks to put in 4 Gb of ram.
but I'd still like to see that 800 Mhz ram.
