What are your thoughts on the subject?

I realy like the size/weight/form factor of the 12" but I've heard that because it does'nt have L3 cache, some newer games won't run on it. Is that true?

Gaming is not the main reason I'm about to buy a new laptop. But I do travel a lot for work and sometime I get bored on the plane or at the hotel. Games would be a big plus. For how long do you think the 12" powebook will be fitting in the new games "minimum requirements" window?

Thanks for your input.

It depends on the type of games. Any modern 3d game won't run all that well on a 12" powerbook. But older ones should run just fine.

An SNES emulator would run great, and offer tons of fun!

It seems to me that'd be awfully small for most games I'd want to play.

Works fine for me running the Neverwinter Nights demo (actually almost looks better than on my 17" CRT) as well as Unreal (though admittedly I haven't tried going online with that yet). :)
