Macbook display default settings?

I searched and cant find my answer.

While fooling around with my MB I some how screwed up the display settings! Can someone tell me the factory settings? I tried 600 x 800 on up and its either too small or too "stretched".

It should be the largest available resolution of 1280 by 800. The data can be found on the Apple website. 🙂

The default setting for the 13.3" MacBook is 1280 x 800

OK, i'm not sure how to word this, i have no idea what i did to my mac. i was on vacation and when i came back i noticed that the fonts were weird, so i tried to reset them with the system preferences under appearance. so i tried to change the "font smoothing style" and changed it to "automatic--best for main display.", but that didn't work. and then I tried to change the "turn off text smoothing for best font size (#) and smaller. and then i tried changing the display, but that only made things a lot worse! now it looks a little better but it's still weird. now it's under 1440 x 900. Please help!!! all i want is to restore the default settings! please, please help!!!!
