jawbone have a great design , an amazing sound quality, but the most important thing they forgot to take care : ITS NOT comfortable at all..
that thing behind the ear is sux , and just doesnt fit well on the ear.

the apple one looks much more light , and its a beatuiful peace of design.
jawbone u look like a security guy with that huge thing on your ear..

Probably has to do with individual ear morphology - I picked up a Jawbone yesterday and am quite pleased so far. Doesn't fit my girlfriend's ear, though. YMMV.

The fit is totally customizable. I am surprised you didn't find something comfortable for you.

My favorite so far is a Nokia BH-800.

The Jawbone can form to most ears and even comes with multiple ear mounts... that's too bad, man. I hate headsets that depend on plugging your ear with a big honkin' earbud as SUPPORT for the headset staying on. Hurts my ears after too long of use and chronic use.

I think the Jawbone is a brilliant product even beyond ergonomics, though... NO other headset, even Apple's, will come close to the call quality of the Jawbone. Guaranteed. (Unless they're using the same concept/tech as the Jawbone... but I doubt it. :) )
