Samsung CLP-300, Macs and Airport

Sometimes my Samsung CLP-300 printer will print when my Powerbook G4 is not connected directly to the printer via USB, but usually it won't. I don't know what to do to make it work. Sometimes it work after I've unplugged and re-plugged in the printer and USB cable or restarted the printer, but no more.

I suspect it has something to do with iSmart, which does nothing.

Any advice??

Also, would a generic printer software tool - like VueScan for scanners (great stuff!) - work?
