Some sad news its been reported that jazz legend George Melly has died (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/6272552.stm) at the age of 80.

Hed been plagued by a variety of illnesses and ailments for a while now, but carried on performing up until a few weeks ago.

"I've always said I wanted to die either coming off stage with the applause in my ears or of a terminal stroke on a river bank with two trout by my side."
