According to CNET (story), Apple is facing a copyright violation suit from a professional photographer, for the "wall of images" image used by Apple for its Apple TV promotions.

Here's a shot of the Apple TV image when it was first introduced at Macworld 2007:

You've seen similar versions in the product's intro video.

And here, on photographer Louie Psihoyos' website, is the photo that he says has been infringed upon:

Do you think he has a good case?

I think I saw this on Engadget earlier today. This guy has a case, unless Apple can prove that they created that concept before he posted this image.

Edit: Just looked at the Concept photos and some of them are really cool. But why did he wait until 6 months after the product release to get after Apple on this?

Here is the Engadget story.

Maybe the delay was because he was still negotiating with Apple, or maybe the case has been in progress for a while but is now being publicized to put more pressure on Apple.
