Logitech VX Lag

Currently using a Logitech VX mouse on my MacBook Pro C2D 2.33GHz, at the moment it's practically unusable. The lag is stupid, clicking to open something turns into a 10 click challenge. The mouse stutters around the screen. This happens often, sometimes it works great but at the moment, i'm very tempted to get a Mighty Mouse, since it really is annoying me.

I'm not using any software, simply plug and play. Has anyone experienced this? If so, any fix?

I have a Logitech VX Revolution and have never experienced anything like that. Try creating a new user account and using the mouse in that account for a while, that will tell if it's a systemwide error or if it's only in your account.
