iPod nano windows?

I just recieved my iPod nano 8gig and noticed in the menu that it says under format "windows". Though I am waiting for my macbook pro to arrive in 2 weeks. is there a way to change it and is it ok to load my music from my PC then still be able to use it with my new mac?

Windows format will work fine on a Mac (but a Mac-formatted iPod wouldn't be too happy on a PC). Since you have a PC too, Windows format is exactly what you want.
