Is there a way to do this in OS X? In Windows, one can simply right-click and copy the media file anywhere. Does anyone know how to do this in OS X?

In Safari? The Safari 3 beta can do this, right click on the file and "Save image as" or "Download linked file as".

Sorry, forgot to mention that I meant Safari. But I found it! It's the "save link as" option. I didn't see it the first time I tried. Thanks for the replies, the mods can now trash this thread.🙂

Isn't that the same as this? (Right click on the link-- or if using a Mac laptop, ctrl+ left click)

I think that's forgivable, seeing as how you were keeping trolls off of this forum🙂 Thanks again everyone (really fast replies too!).

If it's a picture, just drag it to the desktop.
