Required Folder Cannot Be Found

Hello,

I've searched the forum, but couldn't find something specific to what I'm dealing with.

I just got a new PC. I downloaded iTunes, connected my external hard drive and imported my itunes music folder. I connected my 40gb dock connector iPod (yes, it's 3+ years old). I ran into some issues and cleaned things up. One of which was the "required folder cannot be found" error message. I then uninstalled itunes and brought my music back in. I restored my iPod again. However, I'm still having problems when I sync.

I connect it, it syncs ~100 songs of ~9000 and then I get the error. If anyone can help solve this please let me know.

Are you saying this error occurs when syncing your iTunes music to your iPod? Have you tried the 5 Rs of iPod troubleshooting (http://www.apple.com/support/ipod/five_rs/), including restoring the iPod's firmware? :)
