the apple mention was miniscule, but fun. fortune has been pretty sweet on apple since the iTMS anouncement. but he's right about Longhorn. Hell, most people i know never upgraded their OS. They still run 95, 98 or whatever came on their machine.

True enough. Most of the pc owners I know are running 95 or 98, some even with new machines b/c they bought some bargain basement thing that didn't come with windows. Every mac owner I know is running at least os9 with probably about half running osx. And the ones who are running X are upgrading with each update and waiting for Panther.
