How to completely clear browser history?

I'm trying to clear the suggestion list of URLs when typing a domain name into the URL bar.

I tried:

Settings -> Safari -> Clear History, Clear Cookies, Clear Cache

Safari will still give suggestions for sites that it's been to before.

How do I completely clear that?

The steps you listed should take care of the previously visited sites. However, Safari will still try to auto-complete with whatever bookmarks you have...is that what you're seeing? I don't know of a way to prevent it from doing that.

not sure, but maybe resetting the dictionary will help, be careful though, i dont know if that will work :confused:
