Hi all, Looking for a 800+ Mhz G3 or better iBook for my wife. I'd prefer a 12", but would consider 14". I'd like at least a 20 GB HDD. And yes, I know about eBay, but I'd think MR members might be a little more caring in how they handle their laptops. Thanks!

Do you have a price range you are looking to stay in?

I'd like to stay under $300-400. Even if it was a 500Mhz G3, I really don't care ... she just wants something to store photos on and play around with. No Clamshells!

We have 3-4 different laptops, and this is the last of our G3's.
G3-400
Firewire
DVD
20GB drive
Yo-Yo PSU
Software and owners manuals (no box)
8/10 condition (some may call it a 9), I will be conservative.
$250 shipped w/insurance
Guess I will edit the ad and add this too:
iBook 14"
1.07Ghz
Superdrive
768MB Mem
60GB drive
Box / Manuals / Software
$500 shipped w/insurance
Both are great machines, but we have moved into later machines for most of the family

She doesn't like the Pismos ... I like the look of the G4, but I'll have to think on it ... $500 is pretty good, but it may be more than I can spend right now ...

$699 AU is about $602 US
There's an "Easy Currency" Widget that I use; seems to work pretty well :)

i've got an iBook G4 12" 1.0 GHz, 30GB hard drive, combo drive, and 512MB ram. (or is it 384... it's 256 added to the stock, I'll have to check) Comes with airport extreme.
It's in GREAT shape except for one thing. There's a small piece of the LCD bezel (the plastic around the iBook screen) that broken off. about a quarter inch by quarter inch. I've just taped a piece of paper to cover it up. haven't found the appropriate sticker yet.
Oh, I'd ask $450 I think?

Ive got a iBook G3, 800MHz, 256MB Ram, 30 GB HD, Airport Card, Panther, YO-YO adapter, iLife '05. The only prblem is that the connecter that connects the display to the logic board got pinched I think so the screen wont light up. You can get a new connector from iFixit.com for around $30.

I have a 500 I will sell you for $230 shipped. The only thing wrong with it is that the power adapter is a little frayed. But, I just put a little tape around it. It truly is in beautiful condition. Its my Girlfriend's old one. So im not sure of the specs until I get home. I'm pretty sure it has a dvd drive too. PM me if you are interested.
