I'm using the Apple Promo to get a free iPod and I would feel terrible if I did not use it. But I really don't like any of the new iPod other than the nano, which I already have. So I don't need any others. Just wondering if I can pass on the savings on to you. I will sell it for $15 less than what it says on Apple Canada including shipping. Thats around a $30-40 savings once taxes are factored in. And for a brand new unopened iPod, I figure thats pretty good.
E-mail me if interested! Would like to sell it fast!

So.. you don't own the iPod? I'm pretty sure that's against forum rules.

He is a student, and feels like he could better benifit others by giving them a discounted price on a new ipod instead of otherwise wasting the promotion. He still has the chance to order any of the iPods, therefore giving you the choice of the iPod (color, size, etc.). If this gets pulled, he will most likely choose the ipod that he wants to sell, and give the same offer, except that there is no choice in the matter. just my 2c :)

BTW, you need to cut out the UPC barcodes and stuff... so it won't be sealed anymore.... but still good as new.

my ipod last year came in packed in a plain box with the UPC on it so I didn't have to destroy the nice shiny ipod packing..

Dont worry I've done it twice before. Actually Apple accepts copies as long as you attach a letter with a small explanation. I mean how else are you going to get the Printer Promo and the iPod Promo.
Oh and I didnt realize it was at all against the rules. I just want to match up two people, one being me, who could use the deal to their advantage together, which they could not seperate. That what a community is supposed to do, no? If its against the rules its ok I've had plenty of hits on other forums so I guess it'll just be sad people on Mac Rumors cannot collaborate as easily, but we'll see first if it gets blocked.

It is against the rules and I've had at least one thread of mine shut down for selling something I technically didn't own outright.

Well it's a stupid rule as long as no money changes hands before the iPod is in the seller's possession. If a buyer and the seller commit to a deal under this situation, I think it should be perfectly fine.

I totally agree BUT if a mod closes other threads that meet the above-mentioned criteria then logic would only say...
