How do I import Recording from Mini DV

Hi guys

I have just bought a Camcorder mini dv format . Can someone please guide me how do I import the recording from my camcorder on to mac. What extra leads etc will I require? Any software I need to install? The disc that came with it is not compatible with Mac.
Help would be much appreciated.

You need a 6 pin to 4 pin firewire cable. Plug the camera into your Mac and open iMovie.

For iMovie help, try the menu items like 'top tips' and 'help'. Good luck!
