I've been generally surfing the web looking for interesting PowerBook stuff for my incoming TiBook. One place I was pointed to was RadTechs stuff. Anyone with a TiBook use the TiGlide kit? Is the hinge on the TiBook really in need of fixing?
What about the wildeepz? Do those work as advertised. Seems like a good idea to prevent the screen from hitting the case...
Any comments on this company?
Thx,
...Jim

For others, the link is RadTech (http://www.radtech.us/). (RadTechs is a medical supply and traning company.)
I saw several posts about the Ti-Glid kit, and the feed back was neutral to positive (I think it was Spymac or AppleInsider, but maybe not). I wouldn't invest in a repair until it was necessary. Does it void the warranty?
Radtech
NOTE: TiGlide will reduce the display's ability to remain open at angles less than 20 degrees from the chassis.
If it aint broke don't fix it.
The Wildeepz pads (http://www.radtech.us/wildeepz.html) and the Screensavrz (http://www.radtech.us/screensavrz-laptop.html) do look like good investments.

I have one of their screen protectors for my iBook and it is of high quality. I've never had any of the other problems they describe but if you do i highyl recommend them.
