I think my home router is no longer functioning. It will not provide an address to the computers. My setup is cable modem>Asante Router/Switch>computers.
When I take the router out of the network and directly connect to modem – connection works, put router back in – no connection. This router is about 2 years old. I have tried resetting the router through Asante software provided, I've pulled the wall plug and waited a few minutes, still nothing. Is there any other things I can do? And is this router/switch any good Linksys EtherFast Cable/DSL Router With 4 10/100 Switched Ports BEFSR41?
