Oh man...how is this going to affect the cost of cheese here in the Bay Area? The ripple effects from this could be awful. :( ;)

:D I am getting hungry just thinking about this.

For clean-up, they just need to bring in a bunch of dogs (once the cheese has cooled down) and let them lick the pavement clean.

Actually now that I think of it, that probably wouldn't be a good idea with all the other burnt truck parts mixed in. the dogs might get sick.

All joking aside, are any pedestrians going to be affected by this? I can imagine you're not going to be able to wade through a street of melted cheese without wearing a stilton your foot...

I cantal for sure, but I don't believe so.

Seriously though, it's on a freeway, so there aren't any pedestrians.

Me too. Surely the 3 second rule should apply to the road as well.

I'm with everyone else who would've eaten the cheese. I'll stop by the grocery on the way. :o

now that i have seen the video...i'll have to agree. it looks nowhere near as appetizing as the "freeway fondue" the news story spoke of. :o

i still loves me some cheese, though. :D

A sign of my madness- when I read the topic I imagine it being a cement mixer style churning thing carrying lots of liquid cheese.

I was imaging cars driving through something like easy cheese (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Easy_Cheese). (god what a mess that would be!) this amused me greatly.
