call me crazy and maybe there was also a thread about this but in the artists tab of the iPod is that Bono? Sure looks like a profile shot of him from that original species vid?

I thought the same thing. Probably not. They would have to pay a hefty sum for that likeness as an icon.

i read somewhere that it is Bono, remember they did the U2 iPod so why not use his face

Nope...the Singer on the iPhone has the mic up, and the pics of bono have his mic down(the ones Apple uses).

I'd say its based on him, but not a outline of him

I'm going with "Yes." I'm sorry, but the likeness cannot be ignored. It's Bono. BTW, this was on digg a couple of weeks ago. Just Google "iphone bono icon".

i am having a hard time believing anyone would think its not bono. The silhouettes are almost identical.
