Also worth noting that this person only has 6 positive feedbacks despite being registered for 5 years, and not a single one of those was as a seller!
If you want my advice: Save your time and money.

I'm not sure why weren't even debating this as a legit product here...
I reported it to Ebay as fraud and emailed the seller asking if s/he had 60-80 available because I was "interested" :D

I think this is one of the new Linux based phones...
Completely open source, so that is why the seller states "Other functions that customers require".
I think these are early models, maybe even sdk versions....not positive though. Saw a post somewhere with this same phone and real info about cost, developing, etc.
Too bad this guy is trying to scam people into thinking it is an iPhone...the idea of an open source phone is cool..
(kinda like where the iPhone Dev guys are headed)

Nah. It runs Windows Mobile.
The phone you're thinking of is the OpenMoko.

I don't think they are the Linux phones, the look like actual knockoffs from China including the Apple logo on the back and on the box.
I saw this on youtube once too but can't find the link right now.

I just found the YouTube link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f_8wuVEYMZ8
It actually runs Winblows on it including the startup chime.
I really hope Apple legal will go after them.

Yes, they called it "iPhone" at first and had an apple on the back.
No, that particular one doesn't run Windows, although they stole the startup chime from them, as well. It's also not the Linux one:
OpenMoko phone (http://gizmodo.com/gadgets/smartphones/openmoko-smartphone-did-they-have-a-time-machine-or-what-229243.php)
There are lots of Chinese clones that you can buy for around $150. Some are actually a little interesting, especially to those who'll never see a real iPhone.

Anyway, those cheap clones aren't the ones to watch. Something like the Meizu MiniOne are far more powerful, since it runs Windows CE (not Mobile), has nice screen res, and IE 6 or other decent browser. But it doesn't work outside of Asia:

I know, but when it starts up it says tPhone, and look at the bottom of the main menu as well. Linky Linky. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f_8wuVEYMZ8&eurl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww%2Eengadget%2Ecom%2F2007%2F06%2F20%2Fkeepin%2Dit%2Dreal%2Dfake%2Dpart%2Dlx%2Dip hone%2Dclone%2Don%2Dvideo%2F)
