I don't think Oblivion can run on GMA 950.

As iBookG4user said, I doubt it would run on that hardware- Oblivion has some seriously steep hardware requirements.

Sorry man, even IF you did get it running, it would not be anywhere near playable.

Yeah, the GMA 950 is definitely not for modern games.

Woah, hold on there mates. :)

Oblivion will indeed run on a GMA950. I play it on my macbook all the time. Oldblivion (the mod posted above) does help a LOT, I wouldn't recommend playing without it. :D

As for the initial OP's question to the installation issue, I have no idea. Have you tried installing just Oblivion, no expansion, and seeing if that works?

I have tried EVERYthing and i can't get it to run, do i need specific versions, and does it matter that i have a DVD instead of CDs?

Ok i've got a dilemma as well, i've got oblivion for mac and it says it will run on mac 10.5 leopard, which ive got. i know that oblivion will run at 280 odd mb of ram, my ibook g4 has 512 mb of ram so it should just be playable but im wondering: if i have a 1.33 ghz powerpc processor and use oldblivion will it work?

by the way i haven't tried oblivion out yet and i haven't got oldblivion cause i can't get it to work so is my computer just too ancient for this kind of thing?

^^yes, you need an Intel Mac, plus there is no Oblivion for Mac, just PC version which you need an Intel Mac + Bootcamp for, or a pirate ciderized version which also needs Intel.
