Consider contacting Miracle Software Inc to see if they're willing to sell you the rights to WWWW (World Wide Web Weaver).

Boy, do I miss that program not having been kept up to date. If you go through with this suggestion, my finder's fee is two licences of your buddy's new application.

Their website (now dead) used to be: http://www.miracleinc.com

How about simply Layout? Seems impossible that no one would be using that, but I've never seen it. Artboard wouldn't be a bad name either, although you didn't say exactly what it was that was being layed out. Is it images and text and lines and so forth?

SquareWare..

My mind was wandering... Initially it was spongebob squareware and I realized there were trademark issues.

Pieces perhaps.
