Hi all. I just got the domain www.lovemyphoto.com and I don't know what to do with it! Was wondering if there is anyone out there that might want to start up some kind of photo hosting site with me? I am open to any ideas! I also have a remote dedicated server that is available for use with the domain.
Thanks,
Andrew

Perhaps you need to pick a focus for your site, i.e., decide what types of photos might you specialize in, or for what user community. With only a plan for "photo hosting," it'll be hard to distinguish your site.

I don't know -- maybe allow users to automatically display 1 photo a day chosen in some logical or user selected manner? That's what I thought of from the domain name.

I ould have a photo show off site. for instance, i sign up, and i can upload photos with a litle caption about the photo and why i love it, then other people who have signed up can vote on it, love it or loathe it maybe, and leave a little comment, then on the homepage you could have a section for most loved photos of the day/week/month, similar to diggs most dugg stories section. also i all photos i uploaded would be added to a profile page that people could look at if they particulary loved a photo i uploaded...
theres a few sites like it but nothing really simple and as down to earth. theres a fair amount of cash to be made here from small site ads!
i have a few scripts on my computer that could be made to work in this way with a bit of tuning, and id love to be involved!
if you like the idea and do need a helping hand, pm me :-)
UPDATE:- i guess im thinking something similar to http://kratedemo.com/
but with a much simpler UI and less complicated voting. (either a + or - rather than 1-10).
