Hey all, I have an old iMac that I am using while the macbook gets fixed. Its a 333mhz g3 with 280mb of ram, running Panther. It runs fine, but web browsing can stress it sometimes with multiple tabs open or what not. Right now I am using a mix of Safari, and Camino to see which is faster...(I can't decide)

What do you think would be the best browser for the machine? I don't care about features, as long as I can disable flash, there is a pop up blocker, and tabs.

Thanks

It comes down to personal preferences and what sites you visit, but I've always loved Safari. :)

You could try getting an old version of Firefox from oldapps.com. (http://mac.oldapps.com/)

Safari has served me well. I managed to install Safari 3 Beta onto an old iMac G3 in my basement. Works like a charm. :)

I found Firefox to be fastest on my slow computer.
