Wireless G Ethernet Bridge & Game Adapter. HELP!

Im using a Wireless G Ethernet Bridge & Game Adapter with my Xbox 360. My wireless router in the graphite airport base station. When I have the adapter in my Xbox, my Xbox still fails to connect to Xbox Live, any ideas?
