I was installing Boot Camp, and I must have done something wrong. My computer now won't start up and displays a white text on black background, similar to windows.

This is what happens:
1. Press power button
2. Grey screen and apple sound (as usual)
3. Black screen, text "No bootable device -- insert boot disk and press any key".

it's in verbose mode.

might need to reformat. boot it while holding down Option. (will get you back to OS X)

I think when you install boot camp it puts a startup disk into your control panel. may want to check there and select where you want it to boot from by default.

p.s. boot camp scares me.
