Few. FCP2 has been a bit too buggy lately. Hopefully this fixes some of the issues, especially Motion 3.

I really hope that they fix Motion 3. Many users w/ new Macbook Pros have major problems including myself.

Grrr, where is my iPhone update! I was really expecting to see an update by now to fix some issues that people are having. For example, I really really need to change my SMS ring tone and I don't want to hack it to make it work.

Me too. iPod & Safari crashing, regularly, sucks. Wasn't an EOM update rumored? That leaves tomorrow.

I hope this makes a BIG improvement for Soundtrack Pro 2.0.1...but I'm not holding my breath.

The current version is an embarrassment, a huge step back from the 1.x versions. It's hard to believe they'd release a version so unreliable, did they even have anyone beta test the app?

Glad to see they haven't left us users of FCS1 out in updates. :)

I hope it has a better score editor / way of inputting notes into the score.

That would be top. Writing up a score for just a string quintet, bassoon and clarinet is taking aaaages. It is taking days. I suppose it will teach me to compose on paper...

I like the euphemism: "improves general user interface reliability."

Translation: "fixes bugs."

It's 8.3 mb for my MB Pro 2.4. I only have aperture. I wonder if it's a different size for my Mac Pro.

No, it's 8.3MB for my G5 as well.

After two hours spent with pro app support- I was told the only solution was a full reinstall of the OS and FCS2- and not to update. I was told the issue was not fixable by update, so the reinstall was the only solution.

Soundtrack 2 is a worthless POS at the moment.

I vote for Logic Pro's new name to be iLogic

They do these 'updates' to check to see if you have a known pirated serial number. They come about every other month...
Kind of like Windows Genuine Advantage for XP and Vista.

I have found that very often Apple releases updates to their flagship software a couple of weeks before introducing new hardware.

8.3MB for Aperture and Final Cut Studio 2 on C2D. Seems to have installed fine, but don't notice any improvements yet.

Nice to see that no one has said Safari is faster, all the way into page 2. ;)

Although the iPhone is an Apple product, I'd like to see all iPhone people go elsewhere. We have enough whiners on these forums without having to deal with these people too. We get an announcement about a software update that has nothing to do with iPhone users, but here they come like cockroaches... Ugh.

No, but y'know, I think the Finder's a little snappier...

Using it with Logic Pro 7.2.3 no problems. No difference that I can see.

I'm not sure if this has to do with the recent update, but Final Cut Express HD now opens iMovie files for me just fine. I used to get an "invalid file" error.

I don't think there will be a Logic 8 .. I think Apple is busy working on something else with different name ..
