using google maps, but not with phone...

So I have a friend who has this site, http://www.geophlog.com/ and it uses google maps to locate local boat launches and other things. Everything shows up fine as normal, but does anyone know if there is a way to use classic google maps, like you might with a mouse? Would love to use this site, but obviously doesn't wanna work. No zooming or moving around the map...

Well, I messed with it a little bit and it seems if you use the buttons, like the zoom slider and the little up and down arrows, you can navigate. Obviously you gotta zoom way in so you hit the right arrows, but it is workable..

Anyone have any other ingenious ways of moving around these maps???
