All depends on where you are, I am in NW London, Would prefer collection at this amounts to a lot of stuff and for your peace of mind you can see the condition and test this baby out.
Sorry for the delay, have just returned from my holidays in Kefalonia

I'm in exactly the same position as you regards selling this one. The only ray of light is that some people aren't too keen on the new design.

Final price drop here you lot. Only £990 for the lot. Will take off a bit more if you do not require the EyeTV tuner and software.
Will even throw in iWork 08 as numbers is so c**p.
I think I should have sold her before my holiday :(
Thanks.

You are going to miss your 24" white iMac when it's gone, and wonder why you dropped so much money to "upgrade" to a revision A machine that is only slightly faster and full of little rev. A problems. You wouldn have to pry my my 24" white iMac out of my cold dead hands until there is a functionally significant hardware upgrade. In the meantime, I'll enjoy the lack of glare and the simple, elegant white case that is so unique to Apple.
Perhaps your inability to sell is a blessing and not a curse.
PS: There is a reason that photographers and artists generally don't welcome the glossy screen, and that the far pricier ACDs are matte. The colours on the matte screens are significantly more accurate and easier to see. Glossy-only was a terrible choice implemented to save money, not to give the people what they are demanding as Steve irresponsibly suggested.

Thank-you for the wise words.
I think I may have been caught up in the Steve Jobs Reality Distortion Field for a while. I must be an arse as so many would only dream of having one of these babys. Conspicuous consumerism indeed. Consider myself reprimanded. :o
And guess what? One of the bloody ram sticks has gone and fried so after an hour on the phone (0870 number) to Apple where they mostly tried to sell me Apple Care I have to take her into Brent Cross. They even said that they would not pay for a courier as is is over 6 months old!
Will try to get a copy of iLife 08 as compensation else buy one through work promo store and that should keep my addiction sated for a while.
