I was looking on Amazon at monitors, and came across this: http://www.amazon.com/HP-W19-19-LCD-Monitor/dp/B000FVTZZK/ref=sr_1_83/105-5057134-6422056?ie=UTF8&s=pc&qid=1186016515&sr=1-83
It looks very similar to a Cinema Display.

I can see some similarities, but I'm sure that in person it's quite different... besides, I doubt they come in 30".

similar as in its got a widescreen aspect display and its silver, thats nothing like an acd
acd - aluminium, rounded edges, slimiline single profile support.
hp - plastic, squared edges, big fat chunky leg with even bigger foot.

Sony also has/had a model that was widescreen and the silver enclosure like the ACD's. The enclosure was even thinner and the screen size was pretty smal, like 15"l. I saw it once at a design studio next to all the iMacs and PM with ACD's and was even hooked up on a PM. At first I even thought it was an ACD.
