Hi,

Whenever I try to import a .mov file in FCP, it shows up as General Error. I can import other files (.jpg, etc.) but not .mov .

Is there something I don't know???:confused:

Much like AVI, QuickTime's .MOV is merely a wrapper which can contain many, many codecs. Find out which codec is in the MOV file you're trying to import ... it may be the source of the problem. If so, convert/export it to a codec that matches your FCP Sequence settings.
