My G4 powers up, (the power light is green), but that's as far as I get. No start up tone, and no power to the mouse (but some power to the keyboard). Is this a battery problem? Logic Board? Please help!
Never Mind! The solution, for whatever reason, was undoing the firewire cable connecting a hub to the computer and reseating it - the mac then recognized the device and went on like business as usual.
