This is a great program. I love using VLC for playing movie files (including VOB files ripped off a DVD so I don't have have to bring the disk with me when I travel).

I haven't tried this update yet, but I'm downloading it now. Thanks for the link!

I love vlc, thanks for the update! Does anyone know what this new version offers though?

vorbis and mp3 audio support for the transcoding module

improved HTTP remote control interface

improved support for the Matroska container format

new subtitle module which uses freetype2 to render arbitrary fonts in any size

PS muxer can create MPEG-1 files now and produce streams with system headers
