View Full Version : Cocoa developers in the Phoenix area?

Aug 8, 2007, 01:19 PM
Are there any developers or anyone who is learning or has learned to program simple or complicated apps in Xcode and interface builder that live locally in Phx, maybe even in the state of Arizona?

I have quite a few things going on and have also been given the task of learning Cocoa to make a simple app to show our boss the results of simple code using Xcode but haven't really found time in my schedule to do so. I am looking for a teammate or even a helper to work on some quick and easy projects locally just to show me the basic stuff in Xcode or interface builder.

Thanks, you can either PM me or respond here, ;)

Your local MUG (http://www.amug.org/) would probably be a good place to start.

So, that's one resource. Now I just gotta wait until Aug 18th for the next meeting or hope someone takes a peek at the forum there. It does not appear to be as populated as MacRumors, of course but thanks for the direction.

Anyone else from AZ area or even a local state?

You'd probably have better luck emailing the Cocoa-dev mailing list.

For something like this, you probably could get by with IM/voicechatting with someone outside Arizona, if you don't have any luck closer to home.

(Not volunteering, just sayin'..;) )

Hi the cocoa developers group meets the same time as the cocoaheads but it's called XCodePhoenix. Currently there is no website for the group but we do have mailing list hosted by google groups:
