Will iMovie '08 run on the iMac in my signature? I am interested in upgrading, but I want to know if iMovie, which technically requires a 1.9GHz iMac G5, will work on my 1.8GHz iMac G5. Has anyone tried installing it?

You might be able to do some creative editing inside the installer. But flat out without a hack it will decline to install. Bummer. 🙁

Actually, if it is similar to getting it installed on a G4, than I suspect it
will take more than editing the installer. iMovie seems to check for
the same minimum hardware when you start it up. I don't have a G5, so
I can't help right now with making it work, although I was successful in
getting it to run on my 1.67 Ghz powerbook G4.
