RAZR car charger with tomtom one

Hey,

I wasn't sure where to put this, but I figured this was as good a place as any.

I use my RAZR car charger, purchased from a cingular store, to charge my tomtom one gps. Could this harm the gps because of voltage or something? I really don't think this is true, but my friend warned me about it.

What do you guys think?
