anyone else running safari stand for safari beta 3?

I'm curious on how you get site alteration to work, and if this would allow me to remove ads?

next does the user agent even work? I put this in for a forum I visit and it's not working...

Mozilla/4.8 [en] (Windows NT 6.0; U)

if there is a forum out there that specifically deals with this I'd love to have it.

Hi, I'm using 3.0a1 of SafariStand on Safari 3.0.3...

1) I don't think that's what site alteration is really for, although I really have never used that feature. What I'd recommend is to use SafariBlock -- there is a version that's compatible with Safari 3, and it's very simple to use, and very familiar if you've used the Adblock series in Firefox.

2) What happens with the forum? Does it not display correctly, does it refuse you because you have an incompatible browser, or does it just think you have something other than your spoofed identity? There are ways that sites can attempt to determine compatibility that bypass the reported agent, so it doesn't always work.
