iLife '08 upgrade question

My husband is buying a new iMac so it will be coming with iLife '08 but I have a macbook with iLife '06. Can I use the copy he gets with his iMac to upgrade my macbook or will I have to purchase it separately?

You'll have to purchase it separately.

yeah his copy will be integrated into the install disks that comes with his machine
