This little app SAVED my iTunes library after my latest hard drive died. It's really a handy little app, and glad to see that it's development is continuing. And best of all, it works as advertised. Even though it's not freeware, you may gladly pay the small fee if you ever have to rescue your library after some sort of crash. (No, I'm not connected in anyway with TheLittleAppFactory, but I thought I'd make a plug for this software anyway .. considering that it saved my library and everything :) )

as much as i like the software, i really wish there is an alternative (= freeware) to this software.

i may sound cheap, but i am saving all the coins i could find to get that fast g5 computer.

i found one software once in versiontracker, slurp, but i think they stopped developing it.

besides it does not show .m4a files.

I really think that $7 is a pretty reasonable price considering all the work that's gone into the app.

When we decided on pricing, we wanted to try and make it accessible for most people.

It's also worth noting that if you need to save your iTunes library, iPodRip will work as freeware for 10 launches, allowing you to do just that, free of charge.

When you purchase this app, you're not buying us a G5... You're helping us out with getting through college. I think the latter's a little more important.

Oh and plus, when you buy it, you're entitled to a free upgrade to version 2, when it's released.

Updated to version 1.5.1.

Version 1.5.1 addresses an issue where a rare iPod database error could cause iPodRip to crash on launch.

Version 1.5.1 has also been optimized and is roughly half the size of its predecessor.
