If you have any games (either mac or windows if you're planning on putting windows on it) then have a play and see how far you can push the settings... just some notes on your gaming experience would be lovely!
Cheers dude,

Soon as I get home I'll get right on that, I'm curious of temperatures as well!
I play WoW so I'll run it for a good bit and see how hot I can get it.

Thanks for testing!
3DMark06 running on Windows XP SP2 (via Bootcamp) would be a great test for a Windows Gaming environment :)

I hope you are not expecting a quad core imac... 2.8 extreme is only a duo with a fancy name. I just received mine and am thinking I should have gone with the monster savings of a 20". Still love the iMac... but a lot of money for .4 ghz and 4"!

Congratulations on your purchase. Can u profile the cpu to see what model it is. I am curious to see if its x7900 or an overclocked x7800

Yeah i think we knew that and where does it indicate that one things it could be quad core.
Surely it is more like 0.4 GHz x 2 =0.8 GHz.

I'll second this...The Reviews seem to thrash the graphics card but some early buyers report decent performance...Thnax in advance and Congrats :)

hey folks,
Its all about the Windows XP SP2 games trial. People appear to be testing the 2600 pro (or xt whatevea) under OSX, the ATI drivers under Windows are far more advanced. Please trial some of the latest games about, and let us know FPS. If my IMac 2.8 does not perform its on EBAy ;)
Peace, Joe

Oh, and see if running smp folding at home gets the temperature up as it should load both cores.
