New Keyboard Shortage?

Is there a shortage? They don't have them in stores yet unless you get a new imac and it's taking forever for my order to ship from the apple store.

I don't think there's a shortage, they just have high demand. The online Apple store is currently quoting 3-5 day shipping time, which in my opinion is far from a shortage. People are waiting up to a month for a MacBook Pro, so have a little patience.

No shortage. They are just ramping up. Hopefully the Apple Stores will have them by the weekend. I was in an Apple Store today and they only had one of the old style keyboards left. I kinda think Apple is holding back until inventory of the old keyboards is depleted.
