View Full Version : Anyone try the Nokia AD-43 remote with the iPhone?

This remote has it all...3.5mm I/O jacks, answer/play/pause/volume/mute, and it even looks like the jack might fit without modding. The pic shows headphones attached, but the remote accepts any 3.5mm jack.

Anyone try it yet?

So much for that. Found one at my local cell shoppe. Squeezed the jack in, had to hold it in place...the remote delivers sound, but none of the buttons work. Back to waiting for a compatible remote.

Nope. Tried it. It doesn't even transmit music. Sound come out of the iPhone speakers when it's attached.

i don't really know why you expected this to work even a little bit. it's a nokia remote, with chips programmed to send very specific signals to a nokia phone. This is like expecting your sony tv remote to control your samsung tv...
