And I have verified it is on thru the "Sounds" settings. Yet, when I call it, it only rings, no vibrate. At all. Any engineer code to test if the vibrating motor in this thing is DOA?
 
When you flip the switch on the side top-left (that puts the iPhone into silent mode), mine vibrates briefly to let me know the mode changed (along with putting a picture of a bell with a slash through it on the screen).

Does your vibrate if you toggle that switch?

No. All i get is a picture of the bell with a slash thru the screen. That's it.
