With recently purchasing an iPhone, I am ready to sell my iPod nano.

It was purchased in June of 2006, so it is currently not covered by Apple's 1 year warranty.

It is in great condition. All of the time it was in the rubbery case shown in the pictures to follow.

Surprisingly few scratches for a year old iPod, but it is in good condition. It has some light scratches on the front white piece (none on the screen), but you can only see the scratches on the white piece if you are holding it up at an angle to a light source and specifically looking for them. The back has a some light scratches from normal use.

Comes with the iPod itself, the case shown, and the USB cable. The earphones broke, so I will not be providing those. Also, it won't ship in the original box.

Asking $110 plus shipping to US.

I have done many deals here on MR, just ask for feedback if you are interested and I can point you to some people I have done business with.

Thanks!

How is the battery life on this? Can this be charged with a firewire cable from a wall adapter?

The battery is great. I'll do a test today and let you know how long it lasted on a full charge, and the settings that were on when i tested it.

I believe it can be charged with a firewire cable, but I would look into it further if i were you. I'm not an electrical engineer.

Yes, both the nanos and video ipods can be charged with a firewire wall charger. :)

it's now 9:45, and the iPod has been playing continuously since 4:45 PM. 50% volume, shuffle, repeat all, sound check off.

It's got about 40-45% left according to the battery meter...so 5+ hours with at least 40% battery life remaining of continuous playback.

Thanks for the information. Unfortunately I bought another nano since I posted my questions but I'm sure another interested person will find the info useful.
