smooth XP with parallels

hi guys
how much ram is ENOUGH in a macbook for xp to run smoothly/fastly in parallels?
main thing i am gonna use in xp is google talk's voice chat, and a few other voip programs...
is 2.0ghz model with 1gb enough for all of that or do you need to upgrade it to 2gb?

It will run on 1GB, if you issue, say, 512mb each OS. I've got 2GB ram in my Macbook and give 1gb to XP in Parallels. Runs great.
