I know that Internet Explorer is no longer available for download, but I was wandering if it is possible to still get it somehow. I need it to do my online homework for a class. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

Have you tried Googling "Internet Explorer for Mac"? Many sites are browser download depositories.

Then you need an Intel Mac. If you don't have one, you're outta luck unfortunately (not counting the dog-slow VirtualPC (http://www.microsoft.com/mac/products/virtualpc/virtualpc.aspx?pid=virtualpc)). If you do, I recommend Crossover Mac (http://www.codeweavers.com/products/cxmac/) :)

Unless it's something super-IE sensitive, you can try having another browser send IE's UA.

If you use Safari, try enabling the Debug menu (http://www.macosxhints.com/article.php?story=20030110063041629) and then setting the User Agent to "Windows MSIE 6.0" to spoof the browser. It works in many cases, but not all.

If you use Firefox, you can use User Agent Switcher and you can switch to IE7 (Vista), Netscape 4.8 (Vista), Opera 9.2 (Vista), or you can also customize it to whatever.
