Hi, just a quick question. I have a intel 24" imac and recently when i try to transfer pictures from an sd card to a file on the desktop the finder frezzes. So basically i want to know is it possible to uninstall mac os and reinstall it so the computer is like brand new like it was when it came out of the box?

so i just put the mac OS X cd that came with the computer in and it will re-boot the computer to like new? and erase all of the stuff ex: files=pictures?
Pop in the disc, click INstall MAc Os or something similar and erase and Install. DOn't forget to reinstall all the apps that came with MAC OS
